What we believe

We believe that small acts of recycling make a big difference in protecting the environment.

Call us idealists, but we believe that most people share our goal of conserving resources and protecting the environment, but they don’t always know how – or whether they’re doing it right.

We also believe that when municipalities work together, they have the power to dramatically improve recycling outreach and education, without incurring any increased costs.

What we do

The Recycle Coach network connects residents looking for waste and recycling information, with municipalities and counties that wish to help their residents maximize their recycling impact. After only 18 months, there are already 3,000+ municipalities offering enhanced information for residents.

Our focus isn’t limited to improving recycling communication. Recycle Coach Academy is an education platform that blends proven principles of learning, modern teaching methods, and gamification to address today’s disturbing trends of ‘too much garbage in the recycling bin’ and ‘too many recyclables in the garbage bin’.

About Toronto     Toronto skyline silhouette

Recycle Coach is based in Toronto, Canada, the fastest-growing tech market in North America according to CBRE’s 2017 Scoring Tech Talent Report. Toronto has added more tech jobs between 2015 and 2016 than New York and the San Francisco Bay area combined.

With tech innovators such as Microsoft and Uber in residence, it’s no wonder that even Google has plans to build its groundbreaking 12-acre high-tech city here.
